Environmental Strategy
1. Environmental Policy: a commitment to compliance with environmental
legislation, and to pollution prevention. A statement of guiding principles mandating the continual
improvement of environmental performance of Vitality.
2. Integrated in the overall business and quality management system are all the elements of an ISO 14001
Environmental Management System, to achieve the stated environmental policy, and continual environmental
performance improvement.
2.1. All aspects of Vitality's products and services are assessed for their environmental impact.
2.2. In our operations we implement our environmental plan through training and communication with our staff
and management.
2.3. Our overall QA&QC program includes monitoring and measurement the aspects of our business that can
potentially affect the environment.
2.4. Management and staff throughout the organization see environmental and quality concerns as key to
the success and the integrity of our business.
2.5. Sustainability is a catch word for a very basic but critical component of our business: that
our activities and services today do not detract from the overall health and viability of the
planet to provide for life in the future. By using the effectiveness of natural methods of growing
and managing crops, we will not deplete materials from the soil, we will not leave behind toxic
materials, and we will allow natural systems to function as they must to support life.
