Ecommerce Digital Marketing Manager

The Role:

  • Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for leadership of both the strategy and execution of the eCommerce agenda for all channels and play a crucial role in shaping and guiding future growth
  • Oversee all online sales channels including vitality.ca (Shopify), amazon.ca/.com
  • Execute on exponential growth plans including development of subscription model
  • This role will function as a change agent and primary driver to increase consumer equity and create a high-performance eCommerce channel.
  • Implement and execute on strategy to drive engagement, community and online sales

Your Main KPIs:

  • Revenue
  • Conversion; Cost to Convert

  • Revenue Per Visitor
  • Content Engagement 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review current online channels and partner with COO to identify and optimize website funnels and goals for engagement, user experience and sales growth
  • Build a yearly, monthly, and weekly budget that looks at traffic, conversion, AOV, industry trends and customer buying behaviour, while ensuring accurate reforecasting throughout the fiscal year
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and website/landing page experience, including segmentation, A/B testing, content and creative that will maximize conversion rates and sales on a daily and weekly basis; including, SEO, UX, web development, paid media (SEM, display), email / CRM and social media
  • Plan and execute site merchandising strategies to include selection, pricing, promotion, product display, product information, on-site search and inventory
  • Evaluate end-to-end user experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Analyzing daily KPI’s and metrics, such as buying patterns, revenue, AOV, conversion rate, revenue per visitor to identify trends, and recommend activity to generate sales growth
  • Collaborate and communicate updates to the leadership team to ensure the eCommerce strategy aligns with and supports the overall business growth plan
  • Provide insights, analysis, and suggest changes to the website, blogs and social media as needed, as well as report on site performance and industry trends including new product introductions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce with responsibility of driving conversions
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in SEO, Content and Email marketing; expertise and experience working with Shopify’s backend and apps
  • Minimum of 1 year managing Amazon and Advertising programs (vendor and or seller central)
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and creating digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate to purchase
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience in goal setting and defining & managing KPIs
  • Experience with HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Able to manage project deadlines within established cost and time frames
  • Proven record of developing the eCommerce channel of business from the ground up, as well building out new revenue streams with existing customers
  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgement
  • Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, a CMS platform, Google Tag Manager, SEO, A/B testing platforms is a plus
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and passion for continuous
    improvement
